Pottermore
Pottermore is my newest addiction. I LOVE IT!!! It's such a wonderful way to keep Harry Potter alive. It saddens me that the movies and books are over. This amazing site has made it so I can explore even deeper into the magical world that I miss so much:) YAY
Mother's Day
When I think about being a kid there are very few things I would change about the way I was raised. I don't think that most people can say that. I respect and love my mom very much but, I think I do even more so now that I am a mom. I think about all of the things that she has done or still does for me and I am amazed.
She is easily the happiest person I know, definitely the kindest person I know, she's smart, witty and, has always been my biggest fan. Even in my darkest hour, she was there for me. I am truly blessed, grateful and, proud to be her daughter. My only hope is that I can be that amazing of a mom to Ella.
Happy Mother's Day to the worlds greatest mom/grandma.
Terrible Two's
Alas, we have hit the terrible two's. We aren't even at two yet and it has begun but so has time out. Lately Ella has started throwing the worlds largest fits when she doesn't get something she wants. After a long day of work, it can be really frustrating. I just want to come home to a sweet girl and have a nice family dinner. Instead, I get a demonic baby who screams bloody murder at the tip of a hat. It's been a rough few days here and I honestly felt like escaping this weekend. Luckily for me, her mood seems to be a bit better; perhaps a Mother's Day present?? Three of her two year old molars have surfaced but I just can't believe that they are solely to blame for her change in mood. The frustrating part is who can stay mad at a face like this??
I am eager for this phase to end and terrified of it lasting all year =\

Mr. Bear...
I have come to the understanding that Grandparents can get away with a lot of things. One of the many times my parents came to see us, they showed up with the worlds largest stuffed bear.
At the time, we were still living in an apartment and the bear took up a good majority of space. While we were living in the apartment, Hobbes also lived inside. I believe he thinks it's his mission to pee on EVERYTHING. Including Mr. Bear. As Mr. Bear was a play thing of Ella's, naturally we needed to give him a bath. Nothing we did would get the pee smell out so, eventually we had to toss Mr. Bear.
Mr. Bear was extra special and it's always made me sad knowing he lived such a short life. We decided to buy a new Mr. Bear the other day and it's made Ella so happy :)

My Daughter
Is almost two! I just can't believe how time has just flown by. I miss the days when she was a baby but I love her age now. She is talking so much and is so smart.
I love walking into her daycare and seeing all of the other kids come and hug her yelling "Ella or Elda" :) this makes me happy.
She knows what she wants and will do her best to get it
She LOVES the word "no"
She knows about 10-15 different animal sounds
She is starting to put two to three words together
She LOVES Mickey Mouse Club house, if we were to let her watch it 24/7 she would
She is starting to be a bit of a picky eater
She likes to sing songs
She LOVES playing with her mommy's hair
She is getting better at going up and down stairs
She is sleeping in her big girl bed
She LOVES bananas
She knows so many words that I can't list them all
She still loves to cuddle with her mommy and daddy.
I love this little girl, she teaches me so many things every day. I can't wait for the years to come but, I wish they would come a bit more slowly.
Bikes!!
We've been talking for awhile about how when we get a house.....
One of those times we had said, "when we get a house, we will get bikes."
Well, we got bikes :) We're so excited about them! It's so nice to be able to ride around our new area. We typically take a family ride around 6:45 when the weather is perfect! I just love our new home and our new bikes.
