Engagement

We also got engaged while in Disneyland.  This deserves a blog to itself.  I was so shocked and so happy.  Devin proposed right before the fireworks, got down on one knee in a puddle while it was raining.  It was wonderful.  After finding out I was pregnant we talked about marriage, we decided that we didn't want to get married just because of the baby. That does not mean that we did not love each other or, want to get married, we just wanted to wait.  I am very happy we did. I now can have my perfect wedding without rushing it.  I have time to enjoy my day as well as have our beautiful baby be our flower girl.  I love my little family and I am so ecstatic to be wed next year.

Disneyland...your dreams really do come true...

Disneyland

We just got back from the happiest place on earth...DISNEYLAND!!! We had such a wonderful time and we were so lucky that my parents got to go with us.  It was nice because they would watch Ella and we were able to go on some grown up rides.  Ella was awesome at Disneyland, I was a bit worried at first...but she's a true Disney spirit.  She loved all the people and, she loved all the attention.  

Grass

Until recently, I never knew babies didn't like grass.

 It just seems weird to me, it's soft, pretty, and smells good. What's not to like? I personally love grass, I like to just lay out and get some sun. 

 The weather has been beautiful in fact, it's actually been hot.  How should I spend this new time I have with Ella??? OUTSIDE!!! Nope, she hates grass....She cries like crazy or she'll sit and pretend she's frozen.  

When does the fear of  grass go away?? I want to play :)

Bubbles!!!!

Nine Months

Has it really been nine months?!?!?!?!

 Ella is our little ball of sunshine, she has a wonderful personality and is a very happy little girl. 

At nine months she is/has:

Crawling

Babbling (Mama, Dada, Ella, Lala, baba)

Pulling herself up

Cruising

Eating almost all solid foods

Sleeping through the night (except for when teething)

Objects Permanence 

Almost perfected Pincer Grasp

Six teeth

She has a lovely personality but, she definitely has a temper.  She is starting to throw obvious tantrums when she isn't getting her way.  Ella likes an audience, when she is throwing a tantrum she needs to make sure everyone around is aware she is upset.  She loves the cat, sadly the love isn't returned =\ 

I just can't believe she is nine months old....I am so proud to have her as my daughter, and so in love with my little bug.

Motherhood is more wonderful than I ever had imagined....

Teeth

Ella has two new teeth surfacing...This will make six teeth... We always know that a tooth is about to surface because her sleeping pattern changes dramatically.  She is up every few hours crying....I feel so bad for her, it has to be so painful. I come in some mornings to find her sucking on her blanket...or gnawing on the nose of one of her stuffed animals...

Grandparents....

Ella is blessed with having a large amount of Grandparents....She is also lucky in the aspect that she was the very first Grandchild on Devin's side and, the first Granddaughter in my family.  I am so happy Ella has so many Grandparents, I think that they are wonderful.  This little girl just doesn't realize how much she is loved.

I love that they are all so wonderful and they all adore our little girl.
