Shopping?

When did shopping become such a chore??

 Oooh...that's right, when I had a baby...or rather, when my baby found her attitude.  

I miss the day where we would go shopping and I could show off my sweet baby girl...now, she's a little monster :(

Walking?

Will my daughter EVER walk??? 

I am starting to think she will crawl to her wedding :(

I feel like we've tried a lot to get her to take those first few steps but, she's very stubborn.

Re-Cap :)

I am not on here nearly enough and, probably should be documenting more of the things happening as Ella is growing so quickly....I guess I can just give a small recap of the last month.  

1. Ella Turned One (this was such an amazing day and we were so thankful to all the family and friends who came out and showered her with so much love.)

2. FAMILY the entire month pretty much has been full of family...Devin's mom and step dad came in, his grandparents, his sister, and my parents :) LOTS and LOTS of family.  We are really lucky to have such wonderful parents and siblings.  I hear horror stories about in-laws so, I think I got super lucky in that aspect.

3. Camping, Ella went on her first camping trip....it wasn't the camping I grew up with (tents, sleeping bags and, fishing) but, we stayed in Devin's dads really nice RV :) It was a good trip and I enjoyed spending time with the family.

4. Externship, this whole month I have been doing my externship at Trillium Specialty Hospital.  I am eagerly awaiting the end of this madness so that I can find a job :).

5. Blu-Ray player, I know this may seem random to most people but, getting a blu-ray player was an exciting thing for us :) It's great because we can stream Netflix on it....

I think that has been our last month in a nutshell...It's been a crazy month but, I've enjoyed a majority of it ;)

I will try and post more frequently...

Mothers Day

Yesterday marked my first Mothers Day :) 

I don't count last year as Ella was still happily dancing on my bladder.  I was so excited for Mothers Day, mostly because it has been almost a year of having Ella to hold and love on.  We were able to go to Pinetop for the weekend and, I am so grateful to Devin for going :) I enjoyed my time at home and I loved spending it with my mom. 

 My parents adore Ella, they are such wonderful parents and Grandparents.  Ella surprised me with a hand picked daisy from my moms garden, who knew such a thing could end up being my favorite flower received. 

 We had a nice breakfast at Darby's and headed back to Tempe.  

I look forward to many years of Mothers Day, I love my mom and hope to be even half the mother she was/is.  

I love being a mommy and am thrilled I have made it through a whole year without any slip ups :) I know they'll come...but so far, I still consider myself to be one of Ella's favorite people.

Spaghetti

I made Spaghetti tonight for dinner.  It's easily my favorite food, I was happy to see that Ella enjoys it too. Tonight we let her get extra messy as she had a hard time slurping the noodles.

Books

I think that one of Ella's favorite things to do is look at books.  She likes to sit and turn the pages.  She also likes to eat the edges.  We have several books that are missing a good chunk out of the spine.  I am looking forward to when this phase is over.  The girl just has to taste everything.  

Swim Suit?

We recently bought Ella a swim suit as she loves the water.  I just kind of thought it was funny they added a tutu bottom to it ^_^ made my day and I knew Ella would look really cute in it. I actually got it mostly for the really cool water park in Chandler.

Sometime this week I will take her to the park and get better pictures.
