New home, New adventures, New memories

We move Friday!! YAY!! The not so yay is that we are all sick right now :( It's not been very fun packing while feeling under the weather.  I seriously hope that we make a turn for the better at some point this week.

We've almost finished packing!!!  We can't wait to move into our dream home and start making memories.  I just have to take the time to say how really blessed we are with wonderful jobs and families; none of this would have been possible without them.  This home is something we have been dreaming about and far exceeds our expectations on a first home.  All of the support we've had throughout the process has made this dream come true.  So, we'd like to thank our wonderful families who have helped us so much.  

 

Now it wouldn't be fair if I didn't stop and remember that this apartment was our first family home.  I have been reflecting on all of the firsts that happened here and all of the experiences we have had.  As much as I am STOKED to leave, I will always remember this apartment.  

I have wondered at times if Ella will have any memories of living here. I am sure someday we'll take her back here and show her were she learned to take her first steps....

We have a house!!!

Well, WE GOT THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I honestly am still in shock...I just can't believe we will be out of this crappy apartment in less than a month! YAYAYAYAYAYA!!!

34 days and counting...

Photo Shoot :)

Little Miss. Ella was one of a few girls that was photographed for a local photographer who was helping promote a local clothing line.  I must say the outfits were  so adorable!! We have enjoyed working with this photographer and I was so happy to have Ella be part of the shoot.  Ella clammed up a bit with the other little girls but, she did well on her own.  I seriously am so in love with this photo...I just can't stand it =) So, if you're ever looking for great photos at an AMAZING price, just let me know!

First Salon Trip

Devin has LOTS of hair, he has to have more hair cuts than anyone I know...His hair was getting a bit long so, we decided he needed to go in and have it cut.  Our friend Nadine just got a job at a salon fairly close to where we live.  While Nadine was in cosmetology school, we would be her guinea pigs.  She has cut Devin's and my hair several times.  I've only ever cut Ella's hair once because it was growing out VERY uneven so, I already had my locks of hair saved.  Her hair has been growing and growing and was starting to get very crazy.  It was also constantly going into her eyes which drives me nuts.  So, since we decided to get Daddy's hair cut, we decided to get one for Ella too.  She actually did fairly well considering she doesn't like having people mess with her hair.  We had brought my iPad and put "Yo Gaba Gaba" on.  She watched Gabga and Nadine did her best to trim her hair while Ella danced.  Cutting her bangs was easily the most challenging but, it turned out great! Yay for bangs!!

Daddy

Ella loves her daddy.  She use to/still can be super clingy with me but lately, she's been pretty into her daddy.  She has been spending lots more time with him and I have found it pretty cute.

Bapo

Ella loves her puppy.  She takes him everywhere, he's her security when she's in a new place and, her cuddles when she goes to bed.  She loves her 'Bapo' so much that she loved his eye right off.....He looks very pathetic now but, she loves him even more.  She'll poke where his eye was and say "uh oh Bapo, owie" and gives him a kiss.  

Poor Bapo...Hopefully his other eye will stay on =\

It's a secret....

Devin and I are eagerly awaiting on an offer we made on a house, the sellers approved so now we are waiting on their bank.....please keep your fingers crossed....it's the most beautiful house and we would be so excited to get it!!
